ScholarshipSpace is an independent scholarship database that publishes free information about scholarships, fellowships, and educational funding opportunities worldwide. The Site is operated from the United States. For all privacy-related inquiries, contact us at hello@scholarshipspace.org.

a) Information you provide directly
If you email us, leave a comment, or submit any form on the Site, we collect the information you choose to share; typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.

When you visit the Site, our servers and third-party tools may automatically collect:

7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the services described in this Policy or as required by law. Server logs are typically retained for 30–90 days. Email correspondence is retained as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’s standard 14-month default.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Our administrators can also see and edit that information.
8. Children’s Privacy
ScholarshipSpace is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. Many scholarships we list have minimum age requirements above 16; we recommend that minors use the Site under parental supervision.
9. International Data Transfers
Our hosting infrastructure is located in the United Kingdom, and our third-party service providers (such as Google) operate globally. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one where you reside. We rely on standard contractual safeguards and our third-party providers’ compliance frameworks to protect such transfers
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect including HTTPS encryption, secure hosting, and limited internal access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. External Links
Our scholarship listings link extensively to external websites (official scholarship pages, awarding body websites, application portals). When you click these links, you leave our Site and are subject to the privacy practices of those websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of third-party sites we link to
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we’ll update the ‘Last updated’ date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced on the Site. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically
